Haab Calendar's Mol

Mol is the 8th day of the Haab calendar. It indicates "water". The Haab, if you remember, keeps track of what we would call the months of a year (we have 12 months of approximately 30 days; the Maya had 18 months of 20 days to which they added 5 each year. Months/haab groupings give both us and the Maya a 365 day year, give or take a partial day. Coincidence? Great minds think alike?).

Below is one I found on page 10 of FAMSI's Dresden Codex (the top glyph) . The circles around the edge symbolize water droplets. I can remember this one because it looks to me like a frog face surrounded by water. See the eyes and mouth?
If this ceramic frog would turn to look at us ... it would look like Mol:

When I first saw the black and white image I thought it was a bunny sleeping under a big quilt with a circle motif. Perhaps he's counting days instead of sheep.

Oh, yes, I can see the bunny. Kind of like finding the rabbit in the full moon.
