Tatiana Prouskouriakoff

Tatiana Prouskouriakoff was an exotic rich Russian immigrant to the US who went on to advance the world's knowledge of Mayan hieroglyphs. She put a stop to the nonsense of the day. The archaeologists were beginning to think the glyphs all related to astronomical events. She showed that they were actually related to historical events and brought the academics down to earth. Not astronomical. Historical.

I had to laugh at this!!! And you know, from what I understand Christians did once believe in Reincarnation...remember the question "what sin did he commit that he was born blind?" Anyway, too bad your lifetimes overlapped, I think you would have made a fantastic Russian MuckityMuck!
